Green Roofs are not new

A previous post was about green roofs on city buildings.  There is nothing new under the sun.  Neither green roofs or sustainability are new things.  They are old things we are returning to aided by modern technology.  Consider Scotland, Iceland, and Scandinavia.  They have had what are called are called turf houses going back thousands of years.
