Leaning Trees

This photo looks south from the area of the Noisette Creek. Ever wonder why the trees along Noisette Boulevard lean toward the river?
The story is that during Hurricane Hugo in September 1989 the ground was extremely saturated and the wind tipped the trees. Since that time the tops have grown straight up again.
