An addition to our arts scene …

July 14, 2008

Although we were sad to see Blue Nalu depart 10 Storehouse Row for a more tropical scene, we are thrilled to announce a new addition to the community!

Studio Michael Gray is now open at 10 Storehouse Row, Studio 121. Michael is a transplant from Redux Studios in downtown Charleston and has been a part of the Charleston arts scene for years. And he’s a fun, energetic guy! Here’s his artist statement:

Michael Gray’s paintings are a direct reflection of his love for the natural venues that inspire his art. His work can be seen in public, private and corporate collections throughout the country and is widely acclaimed for his dedication and mastery of the Impressionists technique. Gray paints extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe but is most renowned as a master of the Low Country landscape. His perspectives represent very personal and private views and corners that create an intimate feeling of place.

Learn more about Michael at his website, and stop by and say hi the next time you pass his studio!
