Mr. Hugh says So Long, Farewell…
There comes a time in every young persons life, when the primal call of an adventure is irresistible. For me, the stars aligned, and all arrows pointed and prodded me to resist no more. With that, a great opportunity was revealed; the invitation to live in Cape Town, South Africa. My decision was made After some debate , and on February first the journey begins.
Leaving the Navy Yard at Noisette, will not be easy. Over the past year, it was easy for me to become very attached to the Yard’s people, businesses, history, charm, quirks, and of course the vision. Walking through Chicora Gardens in the spring, the many sites and sounds of Kulture Klash, are memories not soon to be forgotten.
With Sad goodbyes, come new hellos, and with that I would like to introduce you to my new protegé, Sir Geoffrey, our new Chief Evangelist. Well versed in the ways of the Yard, it gives me great pleasure to officially certify Sir Geoffrey as a Yarder. Full of new ideas, I can guarantee Sir Geoffrey will provide you with a steady stream of new and insightful blog entries, not mention a slew of new ways to interact with the Navy Yard.
If you’re the curious type, or just enjoy reading tales of adventure, I have created a new blog to document my future and feed my cultivated blogging habits, http://hughmolten.wordpress.com Thank you all for a great year!
I have big shoes to fill. Thanks Hugh for all the hard work and good luck in South Africa!
