Navy Yard Welcomes New Tenants

August 15, 2012

The Navy Yard is pleased to welcome several new businesses and announce a couple of recent expansions:

DELOITTE CONSULTING joined the 10 Storehouse Row family earlier this summer.  After outgrowing their space at the Lowcountry Innovation Center, Deloitte wanted to stay within the Navy Yard and made a short jump over to 10 Storehouse Row.  With a worldwide team of 45,000 professionals, Deloitte provides audit, financial advisory, tax and consulting services. www.deloitte.com

GLOBAL LOGISTICS CONSULTING (www.GLC-USA.com) recently moved into 1,500 s.f. at 7 Storehouse Row. GLC helps clients with all of their shipping and logistics needs including ocean, air, rail, truck, warehousing and documentation.

Maga Design Group

MAGA DESIGN GROUP is moving to 10 Storehouse.  Specializing in infographics, Maga helps clients visualize complex processes and projects.  I would describe it as “Art meets Management” Still not sure what they do? Go the website (it’s awesome) and see for yourself.  www.magadesign.com  Maga’s client list includes fortune 500 companies and major DoD agencies.

CHARLESTON MATTRESS is expanding within the 10 Storehouse Row building.  From a humble beginning in a 330 s.f. studio, Charleston Mattress gradually increased it’s footprint.  In September, the company will grow into Suite 106A, a 1,600 s.f. space within 10 Storehouse.  These mattresses are crafted just three miles for the showroom.  If you’re in the market for a mattress, buy local.  Check out details here: www.thecharlestonmattress.com

FIVE FINANCIAL, a financial advisory firm, recently moved into 10 Storehouse.  Founded by Zack and Kimberly Otey, Five Financial focuses on 5 areas of a client’s financial life: Mortgage, Debt Management, Insurance, Emergency Fund and Retirement Savings.  Check out their website at www.5financial.com

Water Missions International

WATER MISSIONS INTERNATIONAL is fixing up building 1605 near the north entrance to the Navy Yard (First building on the left after turning off Virginia Avenue).  This non-profit group has grown to 25 employees and is operating in countries throughout the world to deliver clean drinking water for those in need.  Check out their website at www.watermissions.org to find out how you can help.  Water Missions will be located in Suite 300 of 7 Storehouse Row while their permanent space is under rehab.
