Historic Quarters 760 Purchased

November 29, 2010

We’d like to welcome Parham and Company (Parham) as the newest addition to the Navy Yard.   Parham purchased Quarters 760 located in the West Yard District of the Navy Yard at Noisette.  It is the second transaction in the nationally designated Naval Hospital Historic District in recent months.  It’s neighbor, Quarters 759 sold to a private owner in July/August.  The area has seen increased activity in the last year as a blend of office, academic, and residential organizations take root.

Quarters 760, built in 1917, served as medical officers quarters for the Navy for most of its life.  The building is an official historic structure zoned for mix-use.  Parham currently operates an antique store in Charleston on King Street.   Renovations are underway to revitalize and bring this historic structure back to life.  The intention is to use the building as showroom for furniture and art.  Stay tuned for more details as the revitalization of this building continues.  For specific information on properties, check here.
